‘I could've almost died’

<Savior> is a piece that hides 'death' in the name of 'saving'. We live on saying "wow, I could've almost died', 'I would die doing this' in a light manner but in fact, there is a heavy topic of 'death' behind. Two males in the piece are in devastating circumstances. The audience seats in a cozy warm indoor space and watches two male dancers screaming and moving extremely to survive the poverty. Behind the 'death', we seats in front of people who is standing in front of the death. It's close by but not comfortable to cross those boundaries.

This piece was created for the grand opening of Seoul Dance Center as a site-specific performance.
